Datalogger of environmental values
Raichl, Petr ; Benešl, Tomáš (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
The thesis is aimed on construction of solar panel powered datalogger of environmental values. The thesis begins by research of commercial dataloggers. Then the concept of datalogger was created. Then the electronics of datalogger was designed. Datalogger is built as a system driven by microcontroller. The microcontroller reads data from sensors, writes data to memory card and sends data to Czech radiocommunications cloud by LoRa technology. Then the data are resend to MySQL database. Program for microcontroller was made in C language. Configuration of datalogger is done through USB interface by PC application which was created in C# language. For visualisation of measured data ASP.NET Core application was created.
Measurements of selected parameters of the building services systems and indoor environment of buildings
Malach, Tomáš ; Rubinová, Olga (referee) ; Hirš, Jiří (advisor)
In the first part, the bachelor thesis deals with indoor environment of buildings, solar irradiance and thermography. The measuring device for measuring the energy flows of the building, climatic data and microclimate variables are presented in this part. In the next part, I mention the principles for the measurement thermal imaging camera and I evaluate thermal images. I specify measurement of the hygrothermal microclimate, carbon dioxide concentration and climate data for power engineering. Analysis of measurement of the selected parameters is performed simultaneously and their graphical processing. In the last part, I apply measurement on the real objects, I analyzes the measured data (air temperature, relative humidity and the concentration of carbon dioxide in the room) and I perform their evaluation. At the end, I evaluate the outdoor air temperature and theirs effect for design heating and cooling systems.
SIMULATION OF ENERGY PERFORMANCE AND REAL OPERATION OF BUILDINGS
Šteffek, Libor ; Ingeli,, Rastislav (referee) ; Hirš, Jiří (referee) ; Ostrý, Milan (advisor)
This dissertation thesis primarily focuses on the experimental measurement of energy consumption of a given energy-passive family house as well as theoretical research in the field of energy calculations using computer simulations. The results of quasi-stationary and dynamic simulations, with varying computational and real-time climate data, are compared with experimental measurements. Using the dynamic calculation model, which was validated by actually measured data, the relationship between architectural design and the energy performance of the building was analyzed. The influence of selected different operating modes for heat consumption on heating, cooling, ventilation, and interior overheating is observed. The result of the mutual interaction of several input parameters of variant solutions provides the basis for optimization of the whole design.
Thermal comfort analysis and energy assessment of a historic building
Kalný, Richard ; Horká, Lucie (referee) ; Weyr, Jan (advisor)
Objective of this thesis is presenting a comprehensive analysis of a climate inside a building, ways of obtaining and analysing weather data, measuring certain quantities inside the building and evaluating the energy efficiency of buildings. The experimental part deals with a historical building in Prague. Weather data and interior data logger readings are analysed to create a model in the BSim program, which is calibrated to a high degree of accuracy. Summer outcomes are discussed; the building meets regulatory requirements. In addition, an Energy Performance Certificate is issued. Structural and technical modifications are proposed in order to reduce solar heat gains, thus achieving an annual energy saving of 1671 kWh.

Ekonomické aspekty využívání dendromasy pro energetické účely
Badal, Tomáš
The focus of this work is on the economic aspects of using dendromass (logging residues) for energy purposes in the production of energy chips. In defining economic factors, the paper employs as a basis actual manufacturing and sales data from 247 business cases in 2011-2012 at nine forest properties. The data reflect 44,971 m3 of harvested wood, 6671 tons of energy chips with a total energy content of 63.92 TJ. The initial objective of the paper is to derive average and proportional variables using data from actual business cases and then use these to discover the limiting production values, particularly those of the purchase price and energy chips, as well as logging residues and the limiting transport distance. The relationships derived are shown both mathematically and graphically. Results found in the paper are primarily designated for preproduction calculation by economic entities, the valuation of logging residues and as a basis for national policy regarding both forests and energy.
